Minnesota Statutes Carriers (Ch. 217-222) § 221.65. Reciprocal agreement

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to impair the authority of the commissioner to enter into reciprocal agreements with the regulatory bodies of other states and the provinces of the Dominion of Canada, as provided insection 221.231.

For the purposes ofsection 221.231, the commissioner shall be deemed to be the successor of the Department of Public Service. The commissioner may exercise any power, duty or function heretofore conferred by law or agreement upon the Department of Public Service to the extent necessary to preserve any reciprocal agreement heretofore concluded under the provisions ofsection 221.231. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent the negotiation of new or replacement agreements as conditions and circumstances may warrant.
