Minnesota Statutes Carriers (Ch. 217-222) § 221.022. Exception

The powers granted to the commissioner undersections 221.012to221.293do not include the power to regulate any service or vehicles operated by the Metropolitan Council or to register passenger transportation service provided under contract to the department or the Metropolitan Council. A provider of passenger transportation service under contract to the department or the Metropolitan Council may not also provide service as a motor carrier of passengers without first having registered undersection 221.0252.
