The expenses of the investigation authorized bysection 343.22, including the fee of the doctor of veterinary medicine, the expenses of keeping or disposing of any animal taken into custody pursuant to an investigation, and all other expenses reasonably incident to the investigation shall be paid by the county treasurer from the general fund of the county. If the person alleged to have violatedsection 343.21is found guilty of the violation, the county shall have judgment against the guilty person for the amount of the expenses.
