Sec. 46. (1) Municipal judges may issue the writs and process considered necessary in criminal and ordinance violation cases to carry into effect the judge's orders and sentences.
(2) This section shall not be construed to eliminate the requirements of section 1 of chapter 4 1 regarding the approval of the prosecuting attorney prior to the issuance of a warrant in a criminal case.
