Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 780. Criminal Procedure § 780.871

Sec. 21. (1) A person shall not knowingly make a false statement in an application submitted under section 5.  1

(2) Except as otherwise provided by law, a person that is authorized under this act to access a confidential address, telephone number, or electronic mail address of a program participant or that is provided access to a confidential address, telephone number, or electronic mail address of a program participant under section 11 or 15(3)  2 shall not knowingly disclose that confidential address, telephone number, or electronic mail address to any other person unless the disclosure is authorized under this act.

(3) A person that violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 93 days or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both.
