Sec. 9905. (1) Savings clause.Except as specifically stated or reasonably inferred from the provisions of this act, this act shall not impair or affect any act done, offense committed or right accruing, accrued, or acquired, or liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred prior to the time this act takes effect, but the same may be enjoyed, asserted, enforced, prosecuted, or inflicted as if this act had not been passed.
(2) Special cases and special proceedings; law applicable. Laws relating to actions in special cases and in special proceedings, the subject matter of which is not embraced within the provisions of this act, and not specifically repealed, are not to be deemed repealed or superseded by this act, but the same are retained and the procedure therein shall be as in such laws provided.
