Sec. 829. (1) When a probate judge of another county or probate court district is performing duties under sections 824 or 825, 1 he or she shall receive an additional salary and reimbursement for expenses as provided in section 225(6). 2
(2) The county treasurer shall pay the compensation and expenses, upon receipt of a voucher approved by the local probate judge or chief probate judge, out of the general funds of the county. If the local probate judge dies or is incapacitated to act, the voucher shall be subject to approval by the circuit judge of the county.
(3) Compensation provided pursuant to section 225(6) shall be in addition to the salary paid to the acting probate judge by the state or any county pursuant to section 821 or 822. 3
