Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 560. Subdivision Control Act of 1967 § 560.248

Sec. 248. The county road commission may adopt as part of the published rules by resolution, a reasonable schedule of fees, to be charged proprietors seeking approval of plats. The fee shall be for the examination of those plat features which require approval of the county road commission as provided in section 183,  1 and plans and inspection of highways, streets and alleys, together with bridges, culverts, drainage structures or other improvements constructed in connection with the plat and related expenses.
