Sec. 104e. It is the intent of the legislature to enable continued occupancy of restricted units by qualified senior citizens described in section 104b(5)(c) and (d) 1 following the expiration of an extended lease arrangement. In furtherance of this intent, the office of services to the aging created in section 2 of Act No. 146 of the Public Acts of 1975, as amended, 2 in consultation with the department of commerce and the Michigan state housing development authority, shall examine all relevant information and within 2 years after the effective date of this section, recommend to the legislature appropriate action to effectuate the intent expressed in this section.
