Sec. 15. Notice in writing of an intended application under section 14 1 subscribed by those freeholders as required by section 14 shall be posted in 5 of the most public places in each of the affected townships during the 4 weeks before submission of the application to the county board of commissioners. A copy of the notice shall also be published once each week for 4 successive weeks immediately preceding the meeting of the county board of commissioners at which the application is to be made in a newspaper printed in the county, if any are published in the county.
