Sec. 615. Upon written request of the director, every employer who has not been exempted by the director from insuring his compensation risk shall report to him in writing the number of employees, the nature of their work, the name of the insurer with whom he has insured his liability under this act and the number and date of expiration of such policy. Failure to furnish the report within 10 days from the making of a request by registered mail constitutes presumptive evidence that the delinquent employer is violating the provisions of section 611. 1
