Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 41. Townships § 41.350p

Sec. 20p. To secure repayment of a loan authorized by section 20m,  1 the township board may pledge, by ordinance as provided in sections 20q to 20s,  2 all or any specified portion of sales tax money to be received by the township under sections 8 and 10 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963 during the period the loan remains outstanding.
