Sec. 22. If the electors of a newly organized township fail to hold their first township meeting on the day specified by section 20, 1 any 3 electors of the township may call a meeting of the electors of the township, for a township election, at any time thereafter, by posting notices of the meeting in not less than 3 public places in the township, at least 10 days prior to the holding of the meeting.
