Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 389. Community Colleges § 389.129

Sec. 129. (1) The jurisdiction of public safety officers or police officers granted powers and authority of peace or law enforcement officers under section 128  1 shall include all property owned or leased by the community college in this state and extends to the public right-of-way traversing or contiguous to that property.

(2) The jurisdiction of public safety officers or police officers under subsection (1) is limited to the protection of persons and property on the property of that community college unless a response is made off campus at the specific request of another law enforcement agency or under a mutual aid agreement with another law enforcement agency.
