Sec. 258. By February 15 of each year, the department of lifelong education, advancement, and potential shall post to its publicly available website a report for the preceding fiscal year on all student financial aid programs for which funds are appropriated in section 236. 1 For each student financial aid program, the report must include, but is not limited to, the total number of awards paid in the preceding fiscal year, the total dollar amount of those awards, and the number of students receiving awards and the total amount of those awards at each eligible postsecondary institution. To the extent information is available, the report must also include information on household income and other demographic characteristics of students receiving awards under each program and historical information on the number of awards and total award amounts for each program.
