Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 380. School Code of 1976 § 380.1217

Sec. 1217. A board of a school district or board of directors of a public school academy shall not apply money received by it from any source for the support and maintenance of a school sectarian in character. This section does not prohibit the transportation to school and from school of pupils attending nonpublic schools under sections 1321 and 1322.  1
