Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 38. Civil Service and Retirement § 38.22

Sec. 22. Upon retirement for disability, as provided in section 21,  1 a member who has attained age 60 shall receive a service retirement allowance as provided for in section 20.  2 Notwithstanding that he or she may not have 10 years of credited service, he or she shall be credited with 10 years of service.
