Sec. 2510.(1) A real estate salesperson shall not accept a commission or valuable consideration for the performance of an act specified in this article from any person other than the real estate broker that employs the salesperson.
(2) If an individual earned commissions or other income while employed by a real estate broker, it is not grounds for disciplinary action under section 2512 1 for that broker to pay those commissions or income to that individual, regardless of whether that individual is now employed by another real estate broker or is no longer licensed.
