Sec. 12611. A person or state or local governmental agency that violates this part or part 129 1 shall be directed to comply with this part and is subject to a civil fine of not more than $100.00 for a first violation and not more than $500.00 for a second or subsequent violation.A person who makes a false statement in an affidavit under this part is guilty of perjury under section 423 of the Michigan penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.423.
