Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 324. Natural Resources and Environmental Protection § 324.76901

Sec. 76901.(1) The Mackinac Island state park commission may promulgate and enforce reasonable rules for the care and preservation of the Mackinac Island state park and other property under the control of the Mackinac Island state park commission including, but not limited to, the Mill Creek site described in 1975 PA 285 and the site formerly occupied as a military post under the name of Fort Michilimackinac as described in section 77701.  1

(2) The Mackinac Island state park commission may promulgate rules for the protection of the lands and property under its control against wrongful use or occupancy to protect the lands and property from depredations and to preserve the lands and property from molestation, spoilation,  2 destruction, or any other improper use or occupancy.

(3) A person who violates a rule promulgated by the Mackinac Island state park commission under this act is responsible for a state civil infraction and may be ordered to pay a civil fine of not more than $500.00.
