Sec. 47332. All licenses expire on December 31 in the calendar year for which they were issued. The department shall keep a record of all applications and licenses. On the first day of each month, the department shall pay over to the state treasurer all money received by the department under this part, and the money shall be credited to the game and fish protection account of the Michigan conservation and recreation legacy fund provided for in section 2010 1 and shall be disbursed by the state treasurer for services of the department and the department's expenses in enforcing the commercial fishing laws, for the protection and propagation of fish, and for the purchase of patrol boats and other apparatus to be used for that purpose, and as otherwise provided by law.
