Sec. 43548. (1) The department may require a person authorized to issue limited fishing licenses without the equipment described in section 43547 1 to file a bond with the department. The type and amount of the bond shall be determined by the department.
(2) A person issuing a sportcard, license, or permit shall remit to the department money required to be charged for the sale of each license, duplicate license or sportcard, application, or permit by the method and at the frequency prescribed by the department.
(3) A person shall not charge a fee for a sportcard or a license in an amount that is more than the license and transaction fee printed on the sportcard or license by the department.
(4) All fees collected from the sale of sportcards, licenses, duplicate licenses or sportcards, applications, or permits, except for the fees and commissions provided in section 43541(1) and (2), 2 are held in trust for the state.
