Sec. 103. (1) The portion of highway US-127 in Clinton County beginning at the intersection of highway US-127 and Wildcat Road and extending north to the intersection of highway US-127 and Livingston Road shall be known as the “PFC Ronald James Fitch Memorial Highway”.
(2) The portion of highway M-50 in Eaton County beginning at the intersection of highway M-50 and highway I-69 and extending west to the intersection of highway M-50 and Courthouse Drive shall be known as the “Ensign Francis Flaherty Medal of Honor Recipient Memorial Highway”.If sufficient private contributions are received to pay the cost of erecting and maintaining suitable markers for the portion of highway M-50 described in this subsection as provided in section 2, 1 those markers must be designed as follows:
(a) On the first line, “Ensign Francis Flaherty”.
(b) On the second line, “Medal of Honor Recipient”.
(c) On the third line, “Memorial Highway”.
