Michigan Compiled Laws, Chapter 211. Taxation of Real and Personal Property § 211.7qq

Sec. 7qq. Any mineral-producing property subject to the mineral severance tax under the nonferrous metallic minerals extraction severance tax act  1 is exempt from the collection of taxes under this act. As used in this section, “mineral-producing property” and “mineral severance tax” mean those terms as defined in the nonferrous metallic minerals extraction severance tax act.
