Sec. 2. (1) Each light of safety glazing material manufactured anywhere and distributed, imported within or into this state, or sold in this state, or for use in hazardous locations in this state or installed in such a location in this state shall be labeled. The label shall identify the labeler, whether manufacturer, fabricator, or installer, and the nominal thickness and the type of safety glazing material and the fact that the material meets the test requirements of ANSI Standard Z-97.1-1972. The label shall be legible and visible after installation.
(2) The safety glazing labeling shall not be used on other than safety glazing materials.
