Maryland Code, Insurance § 2-102

(i) life insurance and health insurance;

(ii) property insurance and casualty insurance;

(iii) audit and examination;

(iv) insurance professions;

(v) consumer affairs; and

(vi) insurance fraud.

(i) establish other areas of responsibility in the Administration; and

(ii) reorganize or abolish areas of responsibility as necessary to fulfill effectively the duties of the Commissioner.
