Maryland Code, Business Regulation § 19-107

A person may not serve or act as a contractor, a subcontractor, or a broker between a contractor and subcontractor in the State during the 5-year period immediately following the date the person was convicted of an offense constituting criminal malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance under any federal or state law.
