Louisiana Revised Statutes Tit. 6, § 932. Act of controlling

Insofar as the provisions of this Chapter are inconsistent with the provisions of any other law affecting saving associations,  1 the provisions of this Chapter shall control. More particularly, the provisions of this Chapter, with respect to the organization, management, and operation, and those for the supervision, liquidation, and the administration of associations, are exclusive, and the other laws of the state, especially the laws providing for the receivership of corporations, do not apply to associations.

1 In the first sentence, the phrase “saving associations” is as it appears in the enrolled Act.
