When the governing authority of the parish approves a survey under the provisions of this Part, whether it is an original or a re-survey, and whether or not a survey had theretofore been approved, it shall file a certified copy of the resolution approving the survey, the procès verbal of the survey, embracing all field notes, and a tracing or blue print map of the actual survey of the township with the clerk of court and ex-officio recorder of the parish in which the township is situated, and he shall record all of them in the records of the parish. The governing authority of the parish shall also file similar documents with the Register of the State Land Office.
