Louisiana Revised Statutes Tit. 49, § 214.37. Approval of rules, regulations, or guidelines

Any rule, regulation, or guideline shall be proposed or adopted pursuant to the rulemaking procedures set forth in the Administrative Procedure Act  1 and shall be subject to approval by the House Committee on Natural Resources and Environment and Senate Committee on Natural Resources. Such approval shall be presumed unless either committee submits objections in writing within fifteen days after receipt of the proposed rule, regulation, or guideline, provided that such written objections shall be subject to override by the governor within five days after receipt of the objections by the governor.
