Notwithstanding any law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, including but not limited to the provisions of Chapter 11 of this Title, 1 it shall be within the scope of the practice of nursing as defined in Chapter 11 of this Title for a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, and any other healthcare provider licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11 of this Title to execute and effectuate any order or direction otherwise within the scope of practice of that healthcare provider when the order is within the scope of practice of psychology and given to him by a psychologist licensed in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter and, when given in an institutional setting, the order is within the scope of the privileges granted to the psychologist by that institution.
