The notary who took the inventory, or the party at whose instance it was taken, shall make duplicate copies of the procès verbal, the original procès verbal shall be returned into the court which ordered it taken, immediately upon its completion and signing. The duplicate copy shall be certified and filed with the collector of revenue. A certified copy of the procès verbal of any inventory taken in Orleans Parish may be returned in the same manner, and with the same effect as the original.
