(1) Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, upon receipt of a notice from the Office of the Attorney General that a nurse is in violation of KRS 15.802, the board shall issue an order suspending the nurse's license. If the individual is an applicant for licensure, the board shall issue a denial of licensure. The order shall constitute disciplinary action against the nurse or individual.
(2) Suspension of a license or denial of licensure under subsection (1) of this section shall continue until the Office of the Attorney General notifies the board that the nurse or individual is no longer in violation of KRS 15.802.
(3) A nurse shall not be entitled to a hearing before the board on a suspension of a license in child support cases administered by the Office of the Attorney General in accordance with 42 U.S.C. sec. 651 et seq.
(4) To reinstate a license suspended under this section, a nurse shall comply with all reinstatement requirements.
