(1) Prior to admission to a personal-care home or assisted living community as defined in KRS 194A.700, an individual shall have a medical examination that includes a medical history, physical examination, and diagnosis. If completed within fourteen (14) days prior to admission, the medical evaluation may include a copy of the individual's discharge summary or health and physical report from a physician, hospital, or other health care facility.
(2) No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall be admitted to a personal-care home or assisted living community.
