(1) The Cabinet for Health and Family Services, unless otherwise directed by an executive order of the Governor, is designated the agency of this state for the purpose of administering the Older Americans Act of 1965, Pub. L. 89-73 1, including all amendments thereto. In administering programs and allocating funds under the Older Americans Act, the cabinet shall design programs and allocate funds to meet the needs of the minority elderly as identified by the cabinet pursuant to KRS 205.201.
(2) The secretary for health and family services may promulgate such administrative regulations as are necessary to comply with any requirement imposed or required by federal law.
