Kentucky Revised Statutes Title XVI. Motor Vehicles § 186.078.Local government ordinances on operation of street-legal special purpose vehicles permitted

(1) The legislative body of a local government may, by ordinance, allow the operation of street-legal special purpose vehicles, as defined in KRS 186.077, on highways within the local government's jurisdictional boundaries.

(2) A local government may adopt more stringent local ordinances governing street-legal special purpose vehicle safety equipment and operation than specified in KRS 186.077.
