Every person who, with intent to defraud, shall falsely make or alter or cause or procure to be falsely made or altered any scale ticket or other written record evidencing or relating to the weight of any personal property or who shall, with intent to defraud, falsely make or alter or cause or procure to be falsely made or altered any entry or item on any such scale ticket or written record, upon conviction thereof, shall be deemed guilty of a class A, nonperson misdemeanor.
