The term “compensation” as used in this act shall include but not be limited to all pay, allowances, bonuses, any accrued interest earned from any special account opened for the benefit of an individual missing in action or a prisoner of war, or any compensation of any kind from any source which is received by any individual as a result of being missing in action or a prisoner of war.
