Kansas Statutes Chapter 71. Schools--Community Colleges § 71-120. Community colleges; official designation

(a) On and after the effective date of this act, every public community junior college, established and existing under the laws of this state, is hereby officially designated as a community college.

(b) Whenever the community colleges officially designated as such in subsection (a) are referred to or designated by the terms “community junior college” or “junior college” in a statute, contract or other document, such reference or designation shall be deemed to apply to said community colleges.
