(a) The state board of pharmacy may require a fingerprint candidate to be fingerprinted and submit to a state and national criminal history record check in accordance with K.S.A. 22-4714, and amendments thereto.
(b) The state board of pharmacy may fix and collect a fee as may be required by the board in an amount equal to the cost of fingerprinting and the criminal history record check. Any moneys collected under this subsection shall be deposited in the state treasury and credited to the pharmacy fee fund. The board of pharmacy shall remit all moneys received by or for it from fees, charges or penalties to the state treasurer in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, the state treasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the state treasury to the credit of the pharmacy fee fund.
(c) This section shall be a part of and supplemental to the pharmacy act of the state of Kansas.
