Any person or persons who shall receive training or payment for salaries or expenses under the provisions of this act shall be regularly employed examiners and shall receive as full compensation while in training the amount provided by K.S.A. 40-223, together with such necessary and actual expenses for traveling and subsistence as shall be incurred while in training. For the purposes of this act, “necessary and actual expenses” shall be limited as provided in K.S.A. 75-3207 which relates to official travel outside the state.
