Kansas Statutes Chapter 3. Aircraft and Airfields § 3-307c. Same; exercise of powers

In exercising the powers conferred by this act, the airport commission shall (1) submit a proposed annual budget to the board of county commissioners with recommendations concerning the tax levy, (2) adopt programs and institute actions to attract industry, (3) act in such a manner as to provide facilities for maximum travel service, (4) submit recommendations for regulations to be adopted by the commission, (5) act as an airport zoning commission for the county commissioners, (6) make recommendations concerning acquisition of lands for use as public airports and facilities in connection therewith and (7) do all other things deemed necessary and expedient to promote air services in the county.
