The surnames of the candidates of each political party for the offices of president and vice-president, with the political designation thereof placed at the right of the surnames, shall be in one line. The secretary of state shall prescribe the ballot format but the foregoing shall be substantially as shown in the sample form of the official general ballot in K.S.A. 25-616 and amendments thereto.
