Whenever it appears to the commission that any person has engaged in any act or practice
constituting a violation of any provision of the campaign finance act or any rule
and regulation or order hereunder, the commission may bring an action in any court
of competent jurisdiction to enjoin the acts or practices and to enforce compliance
with such act or any rule and regulation or order hereunder. Upon a proper showing, a permanent or temporary injunction, restraining order, restitution,
writ of mandamus or other equitable relief shall be granted.
