Kansas Statutes Chapter 19. Counties and County Officers § 19-4806. Priority of competing claims

When two or more claims are filed for limited funds available, a local board shall give priority first to victim loss incurred from crimes where prosecutions result, second to crimes where restitution is authorized as part of a diversion agreement and then to all other victim claims.
