Kansas Statutes Chapter 19. Counties and County Officers § 19-15,105. No-fund warrants for courthouse funds in certain counties between 10,000 and 13,000; limitation; conditions

The board of county commissioners of any county having a population of not less than ten thousand (10,000) and not more than thirteen thousand (13,000) and having an equalized assessed, taxable, tangible valuation of not less than twenty-eight million dollars ($28,000,000) and not more than thirty-nine million dollars ($39,000,000) is hereby authorized to issue no-fund warrants, without an election, and in an amount not exceeding one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) for the purpose of providing funds to be used in reconstructing, remodeling, repairing, improving, equipping and furnishing the courthouse of such county. The total amount of no-fund warrants herein authorized to be issued need not be issued for the total amount at one time, but may be issued from time to time as money is needed for the purpose for which the warrants are issued, but the total of all issues of such warrants shall not exceed $175,000.
