Kansas Statutes Chapter 17. Corporations § 17-4656. Articles of incorporation

(a) The articles of incorporation of a cooperative organized under the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act shall recite that they are executed pursuant to the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act and shall state:

(1) The name of the cooperative;

(2) the address of its principal office;

(3) the names and addresses of the incorporators;

(4) the names and addresses of its directors; and

(5) the purposes for which it is organized.

(b) The articles of incorporation of a cooperative organized under the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act may contain any provisions, not inconsistent with the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act, which are deemed necessary or advisable for the conduct of the business of the cooperative.

(c) The articles of incorporation shall be signed by each incorporator.
