The authority is a municipality as defined by the Kansas tort claims act, K.S.A. 75-6101 et seq., and amendments thereto, and entitled to avail itself of the protections therein. No civil action shall be commenced in any court against the authority by any person for any injury to such person unless it is commenced within two years after the date that the injury was received or the cause of action accrued.
