Kansas Statutes Chapter 12. Cities and Municipalities § 12-329. Cost of plat assessed against property; suit to collect

The cost of making such chart shall be allowed and paid by the city council, and they shall assess the same by ordinance upon such property as shall be included in such plat, to be collected in the same manner as special assessments are by law collected; or the council may direct a suit to be brought in the district court of the county for the cost of the same against the original proprietors or owners who are in default for not having filed a plat.
