Said board of directors shall, on or before the 15th day of January of each year, make an annual report to the governing body stating the conditions of the trust on the 31st day of December preceding, the various sums of money received from the cemetery fund and other sources, and how such money has been expended, and with such other information and suggestions as they may deem of general interest. Such report shall be verified by affidavit of the president and secretary.
